What a strange time to be alive. It feels like time is collapsing while the world is dividing. It feels like we are all becoming aware of the structures that govern us. We see the systems that perpetuate power, those which privilege some and disadvantage most. It feels like we are at a tipping point, collectively, which makes deciding on course of action harder. Macro to micro, we watch people with visibility use tactics of blame and shame, to divide our souls and selves. We too find judgement within ourselves, because we feel that decidedly we must be right in our views to exist in this reality.
But the truth is subjective, because the truth is built by beliefs. We choose what we believe. So it is our responsibility to question our beliefs. Do our beliefs come in fact from us, or from a childhood trauma, a past experience, another’s thought patterns? If they do not can we forgive the reasons? Or, can we at least ask or the willingness to forgive?
Through this process, the shadows will rise, and they do so for us to heal them. So the beliefs that remain, are only ours to claim truth. Then we claim our truth, and we stand in our power, because now is the time. But how do we do this? How do we do this, in this time, when the solution seems too grand to grasp, and the problems seem too vast and deep to to heal.
How do we do this? We dare to love.
We love ourselves. We love our soul family, whose bonds hug our hearts in our darkest days. We love our beloved/s--whomever they are, as they are. We love those around us, in appreciation of all as integral parts of a balanced sea of lives. And in practices, we work daily, to become unconditional love, so that we become our own solution.
